Joanita Zachariassen is a Ugandan/Danish afropop/singer-songwriter. Joanita has been a part of the Danish music culture for the past 18 years, where she has contributed her African culture and music by building a bridge between the Danes and Afro-Danes with her fresh Afropop sound. Joanita’s songs are sung in two languages, her native Ugandan and English, where she touches on topics such as identity and devotion.
Joanita Zachariassen's goal and desire is to see her music influence not only the Danish culture but the international music culture as well. The new single by Joanita Zachariassen, Heartbreaker, which is set to be released on October 19, is her fifth single, and precedes her debut album, which is set to be released in early 2019.
