Sawdust & Rust's first single, Tumbling Dice, was written as a response
to the seemingly constant seeking for meaning and purpose, often
through various self improvement programs and philosophies, positive
thinking and so on. The lyrics are also a little inspired by Luke
Rhinehart’s cult novel The Dice Man. The song itself is a kind of rootsy,
soulful number with a catchy chorus, complete with a laid back brass
section.
