Where’s the Peace (feat. Ayi Solomon)
“Where’s The Peace” is the latest single Anna wrote as the vocalist and songwriter of MonkeyRat. She had a sketch in mind for the composition but decided to try something entirely different. It’s the 1st time all MonkeyRat members, Arnold Ludvig from the Faroe Islands, Jens Stoklund from Denmark, Alain Apaloo from Togo, Anna Iachino from Canada (Italy) and special guest, Ayi Solomon from Ghana collaborated on the music together. Anna decided to join Western first-world music with African third-world music for a more universal and percussive sound. Now more than ever, Anna felt the need to spread a sense of unity with all peoples of all stripes
and send a message of Peace worldwide. The music is for all ages, young and old from all over the world, all languages, colors and creeds. There’s children’s laughter in the song, a reminder that the sound of children laughing is only heard in times of peace. As humans, we all share the same need to feel safe & free.

MonkeyRat Releases “Where’s The Peace” ft. Ayi Solomon: A Global Call for Unity
Starting with an upbeat drum, the song instantly captures the listeners with the fun bass line as well Arnold Ludvig. Anna’s voice has airiness and is soothing, giving a hint of consolation, while singing the words some people around the world need. The bridge which resides on wholly African rhythm, coupled with native drumming takes the song to a new realm thanks for Ayi Solomon. The raw vocals and animalistic beats they put in the track gives it a real vibration that makes everything sound more real. I have found that all these aspects coalesce and make ‘Where’s The Peace’ one progressive auditory treat that evokes response from the feet and heart.”
