About Smile
Jón Eliassen is ready with his new single, called “Smile”, which again shows his love for lush jazz chords and beats, accompanied by a pop arrangement. According to the artist, the song is about following your own dreams, while doing all the things that make you smile in life. The new single will be part of an EP, which will be released later in 2023. Jón is a multi-instrumentalist, who’s been active on the Faroese music stage since 2020, and he has, since then, released a few singles that have generated a fair amount of radio play in the Faroe Islands. He produces his own music, which is fueled by a longstanding love of jazz, house, electro-pop and even lounge-music, as he describes it.
