After almost two years without releasing music, Jón Eliassen is now back with a brand new single called Nighttime Drive, which is the first single as well as the first song on his new and upcoming EP, Overnight Sensation. The track deals with someone who has been stood up on a date and then realizes that some changes must be made – and what better way to do so than going into your car and just drive into night, where all your problems suddenly disappear for the night. Nighttime Drive opens with an intro that is best described as a piano jazz ballad prelude, which then explodes into an electronic trap beat that features a punchy low end with multiple synths dominating the harmonic landscape – this track marks a new direction for the Faroese artist
