brimhvítt – EP

brimhvítt is the first EP the group of the same name is releasing.
The origin of our species has always fascinated me. Where did we come from and why have we turned out this way? Do we have a say in our own faith, or is it determined by the people
surrounding us?
It is my conviction that we are shaped through our actions and the consequences of said actions. But what then, is the result of actions we take with the intention of pleasing others,
rather than staying true to ourselves? Do we lose a part of us? Is it sufficient to simply regret?

All these questions are explored in the first self titled EP by BRIMHVÍTT. The EP features six tracks that have been written in Bjørk’s home in Tórshavn and produced in Ari’s home in
Norðagøtu.

“If you meet the group members, your first impression is probably that we are open and lighthearted people that enjoy performing, practicing and recording our music. The songs on the
other hand portray the melancholy side that also inhabits the members of the group, as it does in most people.”

“BRIMHVÍTT – Ari, Bjørk, Ingmar, Karl, Andrias and Harald – hope that you will enjoy this EP of ours and find gratification in it, as we do.”
