Uncover the Truth (EP)
“Uncover the Truth” eitur debut EP’in hjá Katrini á Borg. Fimm sangir, allir á enskum, sum í grundini snúgva seg um kærleika og stríð, tað góða og tað ringa í gerandisdegnum hjá fólki.
Eftir at hava givið út síni fyrstu stakløg “Fading Lovehearts” (2016) og “My Heart Cries” (2017), fór hon undir at arbeiða við at løgini til hesa EP liðug.
Still based in Oslo, and due to other circumstances, she was on the outlook for a new producer based nearby to work with. The talented guitarist, Espen Tappel, also a former music student at Høgskolen i Staffeldtsgate, was now producing as well, and a collaboration began. With a new producer she decided to take a slightly different turn musically compared to the previous two singles. The musical universe in these songs are overall more acoustic, organic and soulful, with the slightly more rhythmical challenges and the rich cords making it perhaps a little more complex.
Enn við heimstaði í Oslo, og orsakað av øðrum umstøðum, leitaði hon eftir einum nýggjum framleiðara í nærumhvørvinum at arbeiða saman við. Evnaríki gittarleikarin, Espen Tappel, eisini fyrrverandi tónleikanæmingur á Høgskolen i Staffeldtsgate, var nú við at framleiða eisini, og eitt samstarv byrjaði. Við einum nýggjum framleiðara valdi hon at taka eitt heldur øðrvísi vend tónleikaliga í mun til tey bæði undanfarnu stakløgini. Tónleikaligi alheimurin í hesum sangunum er sum heild meira akustiskur, organiskur og sálarligur, har tær eitt sindur meira rútmisku avbjóðingarnar og ríku snúrurnar gera tað kanska eitt sindur meira komplekst.
Tónleikurin er upptikin í Bedehuset Studio í Grimstad í Noregi í januar 2019 og sangurin er upptikin í Tappeluft Studio í Oslo í Noregi í februar 2020.
