Petur Jacob Sigvardsen
Petur Jacob Sigvardsen is one of the most active hymn and songwriters in the Faroe Islands. He has composed and translated a large number of hymns and songs, which are widely sung in churches and mission houses around the country. Many of his psalms and songs are found in “Sálmabókini” (the Book of Psalms) and Missionssangbókini (the Mission Songbook). In recent years, many hymns and songs have also been published in the series “Mær er sagt um ein stað” I-III.
