Hvarv is a band of seasoned musicians who have collaborated since the mid-1990s, emerging from various musical backgrounds. Their lineup has evolved over time, with breaks along the way. Hvarv appeared on Rock í Føroyar 2 (1997) with Fortíð, Nútíð, Altíð and on Vælskapt Brek (2000) with Vovið av Guði. While they’ve remained active behind the scenes, new releases have been scarce—until now. Hvarv returns with Sálarfrændi mín, written by Dagfinn Olsen.
